Unsatisfied with a purely textual existence, Dossier Journal is shedding its glossy pages and becoming something more: the wholly three-dimensional Dossier Shop. Think of it as an extension of the magazine: an intelligent blend of fashion, art, literature and design. Then add some really cool tote bags.

This Saturday, April 18^th, Dossier will be opening its first store on DeKalb Avenue in Ft. Greene. Look forward to clothing by independent designers like APC, In God We Trust, Bless and Samantha Pleet; high-end vintage stuff ranging from YSL and Commes des Garçons to timeless Puccis and Missoni; artist monographs and exhibition catalogues from Greene Naftali and James Fuentes; small-run artist books from independent presses like Libraryman, Hassla and Seems Books; jewelry from Pamela Love, Anna Sheffield and Digby and Iona; limited edition prints and lithographs from artists like David Armstrong and Alexander Calder; customized Dossier tote bags by Zac Posen, Fanny Bostrom and Hisham Bharoocha; literary journals, poetry chapbooks, and first editions; magazines such as Capricious, The Journal, Acne Paper, and, of course, Dossier; vintage corkscrews, records, cookbooks, and on and on. We even have plants.
