The disappointing truth is, like sample sales, pop-up boutiques don’t guarantee greatness. There’s Target mediocrity, hand-sewn cotton dresses and crafts in a third floor apartment, and then there’s the beauty of Bird’s new Williamsburg pop-up.
Inaugurated this past weekend and open all of December, the space will eventually become a permanent Bird boutique. In the meantime, it’s undergoing the first silver rated LEED-certified commercial interior renovation in Brooklyn. (It’s an ecological thing.) The partially finished decor gives the former bakery and bread factory a pretty, raw vibe that works well with the Isabel Marant, Tsumori Chisato, and Zero by Maria Cornejo offerings. There’s a lot more, too, but these items are among the best.

Earnest Sewn Recession Proof Pop-Up
