Imagining the location of Massimiliano Guirnetti’s muse for S/S11 took me to the South of France, near the Cote D’Azure. The man in question is reminiscent of a mariner who prefers classic combinations, like blue and white—or pale beige twisted with a colored neckerchief. However, he is equally happy to show his authority and elegance via a double-breasted blazer. Sandals are necessary, as our man is by the seaside, but they are always worn with corresponding class.
