Taking the audience on a journey through his past, Roberto Cavalli put on a conversely nostalgic and contemporary show. Colors were faded, as though consumed by sun exposure, and the designer’s women walked a fine line between femininity and masculinity. Mixing vintage inspiration with a modern view of gender roles, this was a romantic collection worthy of the season of love.
