Just back from his personal show during London Fashion Week, Jonathan Saunders was at the Pollini presentation in Milan to reveal the “more-is-less” womenswear collection he created for the Italian house. “More” was represented by multiple contrasting layers—like a dress over a skirt, a wool trench encircling an oversized jacket or a parka overwhelming a coat. “Less,” meanwhile, stood for the delineation of simplification.

The result: a paradoxical build-your-own-style philosophy.
