Nomia at NY Fashion Week F/W10

At Nomia, you couldn’t help but feel a little chilly for the models, who—despite the raging snowstorm outside—stood bare-legged in the label’s signature short, body-conscious pieces.

The color palette for the wearable F/W10 collection was mostly grey and black with flashes of sequins and an intriguing matte-metallic bronze skirt, details that revealed designer Yara Flinn’s early yet timely inspiration: figure skaters, notably the wonderfully impish Oksana Biaul. Personally, I loved the grey body-skimming dress with a playful triangular cutout just below the collarbone and a sweet sleeveless moto-inspired jacket with silver zippers.
