In an attempt to marry the luxurious world of cashmere with the more esoteric realm of art and design, Malo created an experimental S/S10 collection. Shown at the Skitsch store, designs drew influence from Mondrian’s geometric abstraction and Kandinsky’s unique chromatic language. Coral red and lemon yellow contrasted with indigo blue and emerald opulence, which in turn communicated with grey and black to create an innovative language of visual suggestion.
