Henrik Vibskov @ Paris Men’s Fashion Week F/W10

Wood installations in the middle of the catwalk. Slow and seemingly drugged models. Wooden helmets reminiscent of children’s crafts. Little eyeglasses with rectangular mirror appliqués. Such were the elements of Henrik Vibskov’s memorable show.

Camel, grey, pine green and orange were the principal colors. Oversized wool cardigans were worn under wide and warm coats, and tapered woven pants were tucked into colorful, patterned socks. Contrastingly sober, plain track jackets, brown leather accessories and heavy outerwear recalled a climber or carpenter’s closet and afternoons spent chopping wood in the snow.

The atmosphere was special, and the collection…Well, personally I love Vibskov’s style, so I liked it a lot.
