Paris sounded the final notes of the Fall 2012 fashion weeks. The soundtrack aptly included “Tick of The Clock,” as enigmatic layers sauntered down the stage, evoking a distinct elegance present throughout the week. But in the end, it was that timeless alchemy of sophistication, creativity and high-brow amusement—as embodied by Woody Allen’s poetic ode to the city, Midnight in Paris—that stole the show. —Michael Schwartz
