The annual Salone del Mobile in Milan presents the latest in international home design. Meanwhile, “fuori” or “outside” of the official fair, aggressively avant-garde designs take over, filling the city’s streets, shops and empty spaces with everything from Alice-in-Wonderland clocks and glowing anime statues to impromptu theater.
