Wilson “Snowflake” Bentley

Wilson “Snowflake” Bentley was a 19th century photographer who developed a photographic technique to capture the transient beauty of “snow crystals” before they melted away. Of the over 5,000 photos he took, each snowflake had its own unique structure. To all the snowflakes in my life: wishing you a very happy holidays.
