Forough Farrokhzad’s The House is Black (1962)

The House is Black is the only film made by the Iranian poet Forough Farrokhzad. This short documentary about a leper colony has been called “the greatest of all Iranian films” by film critic Jonathan Rosenbaum. Taken from UbuWeb.
