Tokyo Subway Posters

Judging from these public service posters, it looks like public drunkenness is the pressing problem on Tokyo’s subways. I just like the design of them. Plus I’m partial to anything that teaches manners.

Pelican Books

Herbert Bayer

Herbert Bayer (1900-1985) was an Austrian graphic designer, painter, photographer, sculptor, art director, environmental & interior designer and architect, and was widely recognized as the last living member of the Bauhaus.

Laszlo Moholy-Nagy

Laszlo Moholy-Nagy (1895-1946) was a Jewish-Hungarian artist. He was a painter, photographer and professor at the Bauhaus school.
