Starting tonight and continuing for the next seven days, Sam Bassett will be presenting his series of seven films on the rooftop of the Hotel Chelsea. The films – who’s trailers can be seen on Bassett’s website – can tentatively be classified as documentary biopics and each takes as its subject an individual who Bassett has found inspirational.  To find out much more about Bassett’s films, read Katharine Zarrella’s interview with Bassett that is now posted in Read.  Click “Read More” for more information on the screenings.

Each screening opens with a cocktail reception from 8:00 to 9:00 PM.
