Throughout my adolescence I maintained that the worst movie I ever saw in the theaters was The Big Blue, which my mother made me see with her when I was eight. Today I realize that I wasn’t old enough to appreciate Luc Besson’s erotic (I remember it being erotic) tale of the rivalry between two free divers and that I’ve probably seen worse movies since – Let My Puppets Come,  Cop and a Half, Match Point, etc.  Remembering the agony of sitting through these films makes the challenge that Dev Hynes, better known as Lightspeed Champion, has set for himself all the more impressive.  He will be watching all of the IMDB’s list of the worst hundred movies of all time and documenting the process, complete with thorough screenshots, on a blog.  Carrot Top’s Chairman of the Board so far looks the worst.  Next up, Laserblast.
