The Scandinavian brand Ivana Helsinki will be hosting a pop-up shop on Mulberry Street, opening tonight and running for a month. The space will play host to different events each night – art installations, film screenings, music performances – each curated by a different artist. The month-long event was conceived to celebrate the launch of the new erotic magazine Love Contemporary, which is edited by Ivana Helsinki designer Paola Suhonen and art directed by Dossier’s Ahonen and Lamberg. The magazine is backed by a Finnish company that produces Scandinavian designed, woman-geared erotic toys, which will also be available at the space, along with furniture, textiles, and all the other sorts of beautifully designed things you typically think of when you think of Scandinavia.
