Those of us who will still admit to watching television, and particularly televised political coverage, should be deeply saddened today to learn that Tim Russert, the host of “Meet the Press,” and NBC’s Washington bureau chief, died today of a coronary embolism. I’ve watched NBC news since I was a kid so I was pretty shocked to hear this. Our thoughts are with Russert’s family, friends, and colleagues at NBC.

THAT GUY DIED??? Total wicked major bummer. He grilled politicians black and blue, charring their flesh and sucking their slushy insides out with words. Rest in eternal peace, Tim. Om shanti.
